- Set the chairs up 40 feet apart (suggested and based on skill). For you PRO’s, take it out a bit. You need a challenge!
- Teammates play on the same side. Play 1 on 1 up to 4 on 4. You can arrange the play how you like it. For instance, 1 on left, 3 on right for example. So, if you have a least 2 people on each team, you need to keep at least 1 person on each side .

The Football Game: HOW IT BEGAN OVER 30 YEARS AGO
So, now you’ve seen the pictures and read about this game. Most importantly, how did this idea come to be? It all started with two brothers in New Jersey, USA. From childhood, Michael and Frank Silva loved to create games. It was when they were 9 and 12 years old that it all first started. That Thanksgiving, all of their friends were out of town visiting family. As a result, they were bored and wanted to play football. How can two people play a game of football? So, they used two garbage cans as goals and started throwing! Voila! The problem was solved, resulting in hours of fun.
Subsequently, a few decades later, it’s now another Thanksgiving. Of course, the brothers are now grown with families of their own. Now, it’s not boredom that they are trying to get rid off, but DISH DUTY. Out they went, later joined by a neighbor, and played for THREE hours. After the neighbor left, the brothers decided that they needed to take this idea to the next stage. Frank came up with the brilliant idea of using a chair as part of the game.
